Bell Policy Center: Report Published - Kept In and Moved Out

March 12, 2025 - Kelly Mitchell’s research on Denver’s Five Points neighborhood is published by the Bell Policy Center. The project highlights stories of residents and local businesses and correlates the policies that shaped the region. This work was accompanied by a presentation of findings, showcasing local artists and organizations, and concluded with an evening of storytelling and community-building with local leaders over a hosted dinner in a historically significant venue.

In addition to the community event and presentation, the project includes an interactive StoryMap that places the voices of community members with the locations of their shared memories. This StoryMap will continue to grow with additional interactions and research. More to come!
